Welcome to Artistic Purpose, an innovative arts and mentoring program committed to empowering individuals to explore, experience, and express their innate artistic talents freely. Founded in 2021 by Hannah Voelkel and Debra Moore, Artistic Purpose Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization devoted to providing both artistic and business resources to assist individuals in achieving success as professional artists. Our training and mentoring program are designed to inspire students aged 8-18 to explore, experience, and express their inner artistic abilities. We believe that everyone possesses a unique artistic talent that can be cultivated through our program.
Our Story
The Vision Behind Artistic Purpose
In 2007, Debra received a divine vision for Artistic Purpose. Guided by faith and passion, she pursued an education in the arts and graduated from the City College of Chicago with her Associate of Arts degree in 2014.
The Journey Begins
In 2021, Hannah, inspired by Debra's vision, encouraged her to bring Artistic Purpose to life. Together, they embarked on an exciting journey, turning a God-given vision into a reality.
A Partnership Formed
In 2023, recognizing Hannah's dedication and trust in God, Debra formally asked her to join as a business partner. With a background in teaching Irish dance for over 10 years, Hannah embraced the role as Co-Founder/VP of Operations, uniting their shared passion for the arts.
